Wir haben uns in Singapur sofort wohl gefühlt und die Woche ging wie im Flug vorbei. Wir haben hier eine sehr schöne und fotogene Stadt entdeckt. Dazu tragen natürlich auch architektonisch tolle Gebäude ihren Teil bei.
Die Wurzeln sind durch verschiedene Kulturen geprägt und man merkt auch noch den europäischen Einfluss. Was uns besonders gefiel ist das gute Essen (da spielt natürlich auch der Mix der Kulturen eine grosse Rolle) und wie viel hier nachhaltig in die Zukunft investiert wird. So gibt es viele grosse Parks und die ganze Stadt ist im generellen sehr grün. Dies kommt vor allem daher, dass jedes neu gebaute Haus einen Anteil an Grünfläche für die Öffentlichkeit zur Verfügung stellen muss.
Was wir uns noch gegönnt haben ist der Drink mit Aussicht. Das musste natürlich ein ‚Singapur Sling‘ sein. Vielen herzlichen Dank an die Spender in Zürich.

We felt comfortable here in Singapore from the beginning on and the week here passed really quickly. We have found a picturesque city and the beautiful and nice looking building contribute their part to it.
The roots are influenced by different cultures and also you still feel the European influence. What we particularly liked is the good food and how much sustainable investment is done for the future. So there are many large parks and the whole town is in general very green. This comes mainly from the fact that every newly constructed home must provide a proportion of green space for the public.
During our stay we enjoyed a drink in one of the roof top bars with a nice drink. We had of course a ‘Singapore Sling’. Many thanks to the donors in Zurich.
